Reflecting on my trip to four major cities in Italy🇮🇹 The first stop on my journey was Milan!
Starbucks Reserve Roastery Milano
世界一美しいスタバと呼ばれているのも納得の外観・・中には焙煎機があり、実際にコーヒー豆を焙煎しています。
It’s easy to see why this Starbucks is called the most beautiful in the world. Step inside, and you’ll find a massive coffee roastery with real roasting machines, where coffee beans are freshly roasted on-site.
朝食を食べにきたのですが、全部美味しそう、、今回はシンプルにクロワッサンとラテにしました！至福の時間でした♡
I came here for breakfast, but everything looked so delicious that I couldn’t decide! After much deliberation, I finally went with a croissant and a latte. ♡
Duomo di Milano
スタバから徒歩ですぐにあるドゥオーモ。鳩の多さは一旦さておき（笑）この大きさのど迫力が伝わりますかね〜
Just a short walk from Starbucks is the breathtaking Duomo. Let’s set aside the sheer number of pigeons for a moment haha
ドゥオーモ (Duomo)とはイタリア語で、イタリアでの街を代表する教会堂のことで、街のシンボルとしてあちこちにあります。その中でも代表的なミラノのドゥオーモの中に入ったのでお見せします！
In Italian, Duomo refers to the main church of a city, serving as a significant landmark. You can find them in many places across Italy, but Milan’s Duomo is one of the most famous. I had the chance to step inside, so let me take you along for a closer look!
チケットによりますが、屋上まで登れます！斜めになっててちょっと歩きづらいですが、圧巻の景色でした。
Depending on the ticket you choose, you can actually climb up to the rooftop! The path is a bit slanted, making it slightly tricky to walk, but once you reach the top, the stunning panoramic view makes it all worth it.
訪れる際の注意点としては、ドゥオーモの中には大きなバッグや瀬戸ものを持って入れず、周囲のロッカーも見つけるのが大変です。知らずに朝のスタバでミラノ限定マグカップを買ってしまい、家族と順番こで入りました🙃
One thing to keep in mind when visiting the Duomo is that large bags and ceramics aren’t allowed inside. Finding nearby lockers can also be quite challenging. In my case, I had bought a Milan-exclusive Starbucks mug in the morning—so I had to take turns exploring inside the Duomo with my family…
Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II
ドォーモのすぐ隣にあるのはよく映画でも見かける「ヴィットーリオ・エマヌエーレ2世のガッレリア」と呼ばれる世界最古の?ショッピングアーケード。豪華な装飾に目が離せません。
The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the iconic shopping arcade often seen in movies, is located right next to the Duomo. It’s impossible to take your eyes off its beauty.
Teatro Ala Scala
行ってみたかった場所の一つ、スカラ座。1778年に開場したオペラ座で、当時の衣装の展示などがされています。
The historic opera house, Teatro Ala Scala, opened in 1778, is one of the places I’ve wanted to visit. Inside, you’ll find exhibits showcasing costumes from past performances.
普段はこのように幕が下りていますが、たまたまリハーサルを見ることができました！
Usually, the stage curtain is down, but I was lucky to catch a rehearsal in progress!
