3年ぶりのハワイ。
物価高×円安の影響か、コロナ前と比べて5割程しか日本人観光客が戻っていないようですが、それでも、年末年始のオアフ島は賑わっていました。

初日の出｜The first sunrise of the year
2025年の初日の出は、アラモアナビーチにあるマジックアイランドから見ました！ダイヤモンドヘッドに登って初日の出を見る人も多いですが、ダイヤモンドヘッドの後ろから昇ってくる日の出を見れるこの時期は、おすすめ穴場スポットです。
We watched the first sunrise of 2025 from Magic Island. Many people hike up Diamond Head to see it, but this spot is a perfect spot for viewing the sunrise coming up from behind Diamond Head at this time of year.
元旦の買い物｜New Year’s shopping
初日の出を見た後、アラモアナショッピングセンターに行くと、開店前からブランドショップの前に長蛇の列ができていました。ハワイにも福袋があり、そのままFukubukuroとして売られています。
今回狙っていたのは、今、大人気のALOHA collection. 開店前に行きましたが、1番前の人は朝5時から並んでいたらしくてびっくり。1時間以上並んでやっとゲットできました(^^)
Went to Ala Moana Shipping Center after watching the sunrise for New Year’s shopping. In Hawaii, Japanese tradition of Fukubukuro (lucky bags) are sold just as how they are called in Japan.
大きめのトートバッグの他にポーチが２個と小さいバッグも入っていてとってもお得！パラセイリングの生地でできてて、デザインが可愛いだけでなくエコなのがいいですよね。しかも、サンドプルーフなので海に持っていくのにぴったりです♪
I got the ALOHA colletion Fukkubukuro at Ala Moana Shopping Center, where there was a long line even hours before the shop opened. They are made from parachute material and are sand-proof, so they’re perfect for taking to the beach!
ハワイの出雲大社｜Izumo Taisha in Hawaii
ハワイにも出雲大社があるので、初詣に行ってきました! 島根の出雲大社には行ったことがないので本物に行ってみたいなあ。ハワイに住んでいる親戚がおせち料理を用意してくれたり、ハワイにいながら家族と日本ぽいお正月を過ごせました（笑）良い年になりますように✨
Went to Hatsumoude at the Hawaii Izumo Taisha —hoping for a great year ahead.
